Wishing Tree
Make a wish upon the stars with our Wishing Tree
A Wishing Tree is an individual tree which has been chosen specifically and is used as an object of wishes and offerings. People will come to these trees and make offerings to have a wish granted, or a prayer heard. Generally people make offerings by hanging trinkets, colorful ribbons and fabrics, or writing wishes on small pieces of paper and hanging them from the tree.
Love Locks
A love lock is a padlock that sweethearts lock to a bridge, fence, gate, monument, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love. Typically the sweethearts’ names or initials, and perhaps the date, are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolize unbreakable love.
Western Music Festivals
“Song of the Saddle” is the first event hosted by new ownership and management at the Roy Rogers Ranch in Oro Grande, CA. Held on 24 April 2021, this afternoon gathering will feature country music band Wood & Steel from 2:00 to 5:00pm, city slicker pizza pie from our own wood-fired oven and the opportunity to experience a piece of California history on the playground of a Hollywood legend. Gunfights, a themed photo experience, livestock and live music are sure to introduce this historic ranch to a new generation of guests.
